In the following, we would like to inform you about the processing of your personal data when using our website and about your rights. Personal data includes all data that directly or indirectly allows your person to be identified, e.g. name, address, date of birth, bank details as well as e-mail address and user behaviour. To ensure the secure transmission of your data (e.g. when registering, unsubscribing or contacting us), we use the international security standard HTTPS for encryption, which you can recognise by the lock symbol in the browser bar.

2. Type and purpose of processing

The content offered on this website is generally available to you without registration. Personal data will only be processed if this is permitted on the basis of the provisions of the DSGVO or if we have your consent. You may revoke your consent at any time by using the contact details provided above. The revocation does not affect the lawfulness of the processing of your personal data carried out on the basis of the consent up to the time of the revocation.

2.1 Data that you provide to us

As a rule, you can use our website without providing us with personal data directly. Technical information with indirect personal reference is collected by various services when you call up and use the site. You can find detailed information on all services integrated on this website under the point "Individual services" of this data protection notice.

2.2 Data we receive through your use of our services

When you access our website, technical data is automatically collected and stored by the web server. Where possible, this is done anonymously and separately from your other data. The technical data is evaluated for statistical purposes in order to be able to optimise our website and our services, and is also stored for statistical purposes. Most of the cookies we use are so-called "session cookies". They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your terminal device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit.

4. Individual services

Measures that are carried out are intended to ensure that the design and ongoing optimisation of our website are in line with requirements. In doing so, we record the use of our website statistically for the purpose of optimising our offer.

The respective data processing purposes and data categories are listed below on the basis of the respective processing operations.

4.1 Processing of personal data when contacting us

The disclosure of your personal data takes place on a voluntary basis. The data you provide in the contact form reaches us automatically in the form of an e-mail and is not stored beyond that. We use this data exclusively to respond to your request.

The enquirer's details may be stored in our customer relationship management system and marketing automation platform ("CRM & Marketing System") or comparable systems.

We use the CRM, registration and marketing automation system "HubSpot", from the provider HubSpot Inc. (25 First Street, 2nd Floor, Cambridge, MA 02141, USA) with offices in Ireland (One Dockland Central, Dublin 1, Ireland) and Germany (Am Postbahnhof 17, 10243 Berlin) for the efficient and fast processing of user enquiries, applications and optimisation of our online offering. For this purpose, we have concluded a contract with HubSpot with so-called standard contractual clauses, in which HubSpot undertakes to process user data only in accordance with our instructions and to comply with the EU data protection level. Our sign-up service allows visitors to our website to learn more about our company, download content, and provide their contact information and other demographic information. This information is stored and processed on servers run by our software partner HubSpot. It may be used by us to contact visitors to our website and to determine which of our company's services are of interest to them. All information we collect is subject to this privacy notice. We use all information collected solely to optimise our marketing and services.

4.2 Processing of personal data to fulfil contractual obligations

We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and these data protection notes. We require personal data in the following cases:

When contacting us via the contact form.
The following data may be collected through the use of the offers:

4.3 Google Tag Manager

We use the tag manager of Google Ireland Limited (Google Building Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland) to control our integration of various service providers.

4.4 Google Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics. This is a service for analysing access to Internet pages provided by Google Ireland Limited (Google Building Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland). ("Google") which enables us to improve our website. We use cookies (see above) to analyse your use of our website. The information collected by means of a cookie (IP address, time of access, duration of access) is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The evaluation of your activities on our website is transmitted to us in the form of reports. Google may pass on the information collected to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google. The Google tracking codes on our website use the "_anonymizeIp()" function, which means that IP addresses are only processed in abbreviated form in order to exclude any possible direct reference to a person. You can also prevent the installation of cookies from Google Analytics by setting your browser software accordingly. In this case, however, you may not be able to use all the functions of our website to their full extent. Google Analytics can also be deactivated and controlled by browser extensions, e.g. tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

4.5 Google Maps

We use the "Google Maps" component of Google Ireland Limited (Google Building Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland), hereinafter "Google", on our website.

Each time the "Google Maps" component is called up, a cookie is set by Google in order to process user settings and data when displaying the page on which the "Google Maps" component is integrated. As a rule, this cookie is not deleted by closing the browser, but expires after a certain time, unless you manually delete it beforehand.

If you do not agree to this processing of your data, you have the option of deactivating the "Google Maps" service and thus preventing the transfer of data to Google. To do this, you must deactivate the Java Script function in your browser. However, we would like to point out that in this case you will not be able to use "Google Maps" or only to a limited extent.

5. Storage period

Your personal data that we process will generally only be stored for as long as is necessary for the purposes described, i.e. for example to respond to your enquiry or to fulfil a contractual relationship, or alternatively until such time as you revoke the consent you previously gave for us to process your personal data.

If you are a customer of ours, mandatory legal requirements, in particular archiving obligations, may result in a duty to retain data that goes beyond the respective contractual relationship and the performance of the contract. For example, due to existing commercial and tax law requirements, we are obliged to retain or store your address as well as your contact and insurance data for a period of ten years. In these cases, however, we will block your personal data so that it can only be used for archiving purposes. After the retention period has expired, the data will be deleted.

 

6. Your rights

You have the right to request information about what personal data we process about you and how we process it, and to request a copy of your personal data. You may also have your data corrected or deleted, request us to restrict processing and object to the processing of your personal data. You can also withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data. Please note that after you withdraw your consent, we may continue to process your personal data to the extent required or permitted by law. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can report this to us or to the competent supervisory authority.

 

7. Automated decision-making

Automated decision-making based on the personal data collected does not take place.

 

8. Data protection

We use the common SSL (Secure Socket Layer) procedure in conjunction with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser. You can see whether an individual page of our website is transmitted in encrypted form by the closed display of the key or lock symbol in the lower status bar of your browser.

We also use appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or against unauthorised access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.
